E-mail scam warning

Dyfed Powys Police are asking the public to be mindful of email scams. Anyone receiving emails with unexpected requests for money from friends or known email contacts should not respond to the email and should contact the sender by other means to verify the request.

In order to prevent your email account/s being hacked: ∑ Do not access links in unexpected emails.

∑ Do not enter passwords in login screens generated from a link in an email, always go direct to the website.
