The historic West Wales costal town of Cardigan is celebrating its 900th anniversary this year. As one of the commemorative activities the Cardigan 2010 committee are holding the Teifi Roc 900 festival.

Goldie Lookin Chain have confirmed they will be attending the Teifi Roc 900 Festival, as will be the Beat and Blockheads. International DJ Krafty Kuts will be headlining the Dance Tent. Many more local musicians and bands and performers are on the line up for the 2 stages at this first such event for Cardigan. For the names of bands please visit the festival website on www.teifiroc.org.uk The event is a 12 noon to a 12 midnight event and will be held at the Cardigan Show Ground site on the Fishguard road a mile outside Cardigan. The Green Dragon community minibus service will assist young people catching a shuttle bus lift from Cardigan bus station to the festival site. The event will have a comedy club, Green Eco area, craft workshops, willow sculptures, kids area, cafes, stalls, beer tent and more.

There is a limited capacity of people that can attend Teifi Roc 900 festival with ticket now being snapped up by supports and revelers who know a good deal when they see it. The one day tickets to see the top bands cost £25 for adults over 18, under 18s tickets are £20 and under 13 have free entry. Also view the website for details of a great family discount ticket.
