Nathaniel Severs, 24, is currently walking around the entire coastline of mainland Britain, 7,000 miles, a 10-month trek at a pace of around a marathon a day and he will arrive in Cardigan tomorrow lunchtime (27 March).

Nat is raising money for the Stroke Association, the Mammal Society and Southampton General Hospital’s Paediatric Physiotherapy department. Nat says: “Wales is a second home to me as I spent three years at Cardiff University and took that opportunity to explore the country and its many treasures. Hence, I have walked much of the coastline before but to complete every inch of it is going to be a massive achievement for me and hopefully it will raise a lot of money for charity.”

Nat will complete the entire coastline of England and Scotland, in addition to Wales, before he finishes his journey back in Portsmouth in December this year. He is walking the coastline clockwise. Unlike other high-profile endurance events, Nat is completing the trek alone with no support team or hotels. The majority of the time the is camping or in the occasional B&B.
