Police appeal after fatal crash near Newcastle Emlyn

Police are appealing for information after a woman was killed in an accident near Newcastle Emlyn on Monday night.

The collision occurred on the B4333 Hermon – Newcastle Emlyn road at about 5.15pm.

A grey Renault Laguna car travelling towards Newcastle Emlyn left the road and hit a tree. An elderly female passenger later died at West Wales General Hospital in Carmarthen.

Police would like to speak with anyone who travelled on that road at or about this time of day. Please contact Dyfed Powys Police on 101 and ask to speak to PS121 Ian Price in the Roads Policing Department.”
