PLANS for this year’s Victorian Night in Cardigan are well under way – and support from local retailers is better than ever.
Organised by the town’s Chamber of Commerce, the event is being held on Tuesday, December 8, starting at 5pm.
Chamber chairman Paul Oakley said: "These are hard times for local traders and we are very pleased that so many have said they will open for the evening and help to make this a really good community event for the people of the town and district."
The Victorian Night committee has already organised the necessary road closures and musicians, stalls and entertainment are being arranged.
Anyone who wants to book a stall, help out on the day, or provide entertainment is asked to contact Linda on 01239 613966.
The next Victorian Night committee meeting is set for this Thursday, November 12, at 5.30pm at the Guildhall – before the auditions for the new Town Crier.
