Ceredigion MP Mark Williams has congratulated Jenny and Teifi Davies of Llwynhelyg Farm Shop, after they were announced as runners-up in the Countryside Alliance Awards in the Local Food category.

Llwynhelyg Farm Shop was announced as the regional winner for Wales in January for the fourth successive year.

Commenting, Mark Williams said: "I am delighted that once again Llwynhelyg Farm Shop has been recognised for its outstanding performance.

"The shop sells a wide range of locally sourced produce, and its continuing success is well deserved.

"To be named as the second best local food retailer in the whole of the UK is a truly outstanding achievement and I have no doubt that Jenny and Teifi will have more success in the future."
