A HELPING hand has been extended to people who are coming to terms with a house fire, with the launch of a new leaflet.

Kent Fire Brigade's After the Fire leaflet provides practical advice, including replacing lost documents and fire safety tips, and will be handed out following every house fire.

Kent's Chief Fire Officer Peter Coombs said: "The service we deliver isn't just about putting out fires"
