A Capel Iwan man has hit out at the county council after his rubbish was collected only twice in ten weeks.
Rick Brooks who manages Cwmgelli Farm is furious that the council has asked him to take his rubbish 200 yards up the lane to a pick up point on the road.
"I pay my council tax like anyone else. if I take it to the roadway it will just be attacked by foxes and left strewn all over the road. I want to look after the environment."
He added that following the missed collections, the council had to send a special van out to collect the rubbish.
"What sort of carbon foot-print is that leaving," he said.
Principal waste officer Hywel Thomas said: "The council has a policy in place regarding the collection of refuse from long reach farm lanes which is currently being implemented across the county.
"Householders are required to present their waste at the nearest appropriate location on the primary highway network."
