The Mid Wales Trunk Road Agency, acting on behalf of the Welsh Assembly Government intends to carry out carriageway resurfacing works along the A487 at Bridge Street and Alban Square, Aberaeron.

This is being undertaken as part of a programme of routine maintenance work essential for the upkeep of the Trunk Road network in Ceredigion.

The work is programmed to commence on Monday 19th May with temporary traffic lights being implemented for the duration of the work. In order to minimise congestion the work will be undertaken between 6.30 pm and 1.00 am during weekdays. It is expected that the work will be substantially completed within a period of four days. The Pelican crossing will be switched off during the time of the works, however, it will be switched on throughout the day.

Ceredigion County Council is providing design and supervision services for the Agency for this work. The resurfacing will be carried out by Alun Griffiths (Contractors) Ltd. The Welsh Assembly Government apologises in advance for any inconvenience and disruption caused as a result of this work.
