BOLLARDS may be installed on Prince Charles Quay in Cardigan to stop cars from parking there and causing damage.
The problem was raised by Cllr Catrin Miles at a meeting of the town council, who told fellow councillors she had met with highways officers to look at potential solutions to the issue.
“Parking there is becoming a real problem,” she said
“We are looking at putting in bollards to prevent people taking their cars onto the quay. The quay is beginning to deteriorate with one stone slab missing and others are becoming lose.
“I have seen cars parked all along the bottom of the steps and we need to stop this. We have to decide where the bollards are going to go.”
