A REWARD of £100 is being offered for the recovery of two distinctive kayaks stolen at Cei Bach, near New Quay.

The two sit-on sea kayaks were stolen while being stored at a caravan site at Cei Bach. They were taken on Thursday, August 30, despite being padlocked with a very heavy chain to a fixed structure.

One is orange, one is yellow and both are Scrambler 11s and are 11 feet in length, with special adaptations for sea fishing.

They were manufactured by Johnson in New Zealand and brought home from there six years ago, so also have sentimental value.

As they are of foreign manufacture and have been modified, they are quite unique and easily identified by the owners.

Although stolen at Cei Bach, they could turn up anywhere in west Wales and the owners have offered the reward in a bid to get them back.

If you see them, or have any information, contact Dyfed Powys police, quoting reference number DPP/0051/07/09/2018/01/C.
