A SEARCH is underway today (Monday, August 13) off Cardigan after an empty kayak was spotted washed up on rocks.
The alarm was raised after a walker on the coastal path contacted the Coastguard to report seeing the kayak.
Both Cardigan lifeboats were launched at 11.30am and the kayak was found and a search is now taking place to the south of Cemaes Head to try to find anyone who may be in the water.
