A MAN caught in possession of a lock knife in a public place has been fined by magistrates.
Bernard Roberts, of Bro Einon, Llanbydder, pleaded guilty to having the knife at Llanbydder on July 13 when he appeared at Aberystwyth Justice Centre.
The 48-year-old was fined £120 and ordered to pay £85 costs and a £30 victim surcharge. The knife is to be forfeited and destroyed.
