DRIVERS will see changes on Ceredigion’s roads as an extensive review of parking restrictions is carried out.
Proposals for changes to on-street parking restrictions will be put out for public consultation following agreement by Ceredigion County Council’s cabinet on Tuesday, June 19.
It includes changes to waiting times, return times, vehicles permitted and disabled bays.
Cabinet member for highways and environmental services Cllr Dafydd Edwards said: “The authority has been working with each councillor during the past few months in order to create a list of places where changes need to be made to parking restrictions throughout the county.”
A list of the proposed changes will be available on the council’s website and notices will be put up at the site of any proposed alterations.
The plan is being carried out on behalf of the Welsh Government and is linked to trunk roads.
Cllr Edwards asked the cabinet for permission to advertise the proposals with feedback to be brought before members once a public consultation has taken place.
The proposals will also be available to view at council offices and libraries, with town and community councils also receiving copies for display.
