A WOMAN has been electronically tagged and must observe a curfew as well as being banned from the roads for almost two years after admitting drink-driving.
Tracy Vivian Dix, of Derwen Gardens, Adpar, pleaded guilty to drink-driving when she appeared before magistrates at Aberystwyth Justice Centre.
The 48-year-old was stopped by police at Derwen Gardens on May 31 and had 92 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath - more than double the legal limit of 35 microgrammes.
Dix was banned from driving for 23 months and must also serve a community rehabilitation order. As part of that, she has been electronically tagged and must observe a month-long curfew at her home address from 8pm-7am.
Magistrates also ordered her to pay £85 costs and an £85 victim surcharge.
Charges of driving without insurance and driving without a licence were withdrawn.
