POLICE drugs officers with sniffer dogs swooped on a smallholding in St Dogmaels on Thursday morning (May 17) and allegedly seized cannabis plants worth nearly £20,000.
The raid took place in the Longdown Bank area when police, understood to be acting on information received, found cannabis plants being cultivated in a shed.
Officers removed a large number of plants and a local man in his early 20’s has been reported and will be interviewed for alleged drug-related offences.
A police source told the Tivy-Side: “No charges have been brought at this stage and the arrested man has been released on bail pending further inquiries.”
