A Cardigan bride was treated to a live performance of her favourite song on her wedding day, before literally being swept off her feet with a helicopter flight along the Cardigan coast.
Sioned Lloyd, a Cardigan primary school teacher, married Llyr Thomas on Saturday April 7 at Hammet@Castell Malgwyn.
The popular wedding venue, which has recently changed its name from Hammet Hotel, says on its website that it offers a wedding with ‘wow-factor’.
Mr Thomas, a local businessman, took this one-step further by making secret arrangements for Elin Fflur, the singer and S4C presenter, to perform Sioned’s favourite song as the first dance at the reception.
There was a further surprise for Sioned on Sunday morning when a helicopter landed on the hotel’s croquet lawn to take the happy couple on a flight along the Cardigan Bay coastline.
