A MAN has admitted harassing a woman in Cardigan and assaulting another man in the town.
Matthew Lee Evans, of Trowbridge, Cardiff had originally denied both charges but changed his plea to guilty when he appeared before magistrates at Aberystwyth Justice Centre.
The 29-year-old admitted sending the woman abusive texts and messages, including one while she was in hospital, turning up at the woman’s house, sending abusive social media messages and rushing at her and pushing her. He also sent a message asking that court proceedings be dropped
The offences took place between March and July last year.
Evans also admitted assaulting a man in Cardigan on July 2.
Magistrates remanded him on conditional bail until April 4 for pre-sentence reports to be prepared.
