TWO young local stars will grace the stage at Rhosygilwen on Easter Sunday (April 1).
Crymych-born soprano Jess Robinson and Llechryd resident Adam Gilbert, baritone, will give a special performance with a flavour of Easter.
Jess, who has been making waves recently singing with Bryn Terfyl and having a brilliant early career, has chosen the songs of Morfyd Owen, the famous Welsh composer from the 1950s.
She will also sing a collection of Straus, Schubert and Handle as well as some Welsh favourites.
Baritone Adam Gilbert, who can often be seen helping run evenings for Dynamix, has also had a busy year with the Mid-Wales Opera and other touring dates.
He has also chosen an Easter repertoire of Mahler, Butterworth and Vaughan Williams.
These two singers showcase the best in class of professional singing talent here in West Wales and they will be accompanied on piano by Henry Ward.
There is a pre-concert supper at 6 pm followed by the concert at 7.30 pm. Tickets are available at Rhosygilwen.co.uk
