A NEWCASTLE Emlyn man is to stand trial after denying charges of assault and criminal damage in Cardigan.
Nathan Lynden Phillips, of Lloyd Terrace, Adpar, Newcastle Emlyn, has pleaded not guilty to a charge of assaulting a woman in Cardigan on March 25 this year and also smashing a shop window in the town and causing £300 of damage on the same date.
Twenty-seven-year-old Phillips was remanded on unconditional bail by magistrates at Aberystwyth Justice Centre and will appear before the bench again on December 19 for trial.
