A CRYMYCH man who assaulted two police officers has been electronically tagged as part of a community order as well as being made to pay compensation.
Brian Warren Kerley, of Clos Yr Helyg, Crymych, pleaded guilty before magistrates at Aberystwyth Justice Centre to assaulting the two officers in Cardigan on October 31.
The 24-year-old also admitted using threatening, abusive or insulting behaviour on the same date, and to also committing criminal damage to his cell at Haverfordwest police station on November 1.
As part of a community order imposed by the bench, Kerley will be electronically tagged for six weeks and must remain at his home address between 8pm and 7am. The curfew runs until December 26.
Kerley must also pay £50 to each of the officers as compensation, along with £85 costs and an £85 victim surcharge.
