CARDIGAN winter fair was officially opened today (Friday November 10) by town mayor Cllr Richard Jones.
Cllr Jones said: "As someone who has been going to the fair for many a year - probably a lot later at night than this - it still plays a very important part in the history of the town and long may that continue."
Scores of youngsters had enjoyed the fair rides the previous evening for free and today
the main street into the town centre has been closed and the road is lined with market stalls and traders.
