PREPARATIONS for Cardigan Carnival are in full swing for Saturday, August 5 and have taken another big step forward with the choosing of the town’s carnival queen and king.

The festive week includes a treasure hunt, quiz night, bingo, fancy-dress pub crawl and beer barrel relay. The Carnival parade through the town will then take place on the Saturday afternoon, ending at King George V playing fields.
