A NEW Quay man appeared at Swansea crown court today accused of entering a property in the village intending to commit a sexual offence.
Samuel Knight, aged 35, was before Judge Paul Thomas for a plea and trial preparation hearing.
Knight, of Glynteifi, Church Street, denied trespassing at Affines, Church Street, on August 13, 2015, while attempting to commit a sexual offence.
Knight also denied sexual activity with a child under the age of 16 on the same date.
The court heard that the alleged victim was on holiday at the time. Knight will stand trial on November 13 and was granted bail until then.
