THE funeral service of Newcastle Emlyn man Jem Pendragon will take place tomorrow (Wednesday, July 19).
The popular 22-year-old from the town died in the River Teifi on Thursday, July 6.
Jem, who worked as a bartender at the town’s Bunch of Grapes pub, is understood to have got into trouble after entering the water. His body was found after an extensive search by the emergency services.
The funeral service will take place at Parc Gwyn Crematorium, Narberth at 3.15pm and dress code is informal and colourful as his family look to celebrate Jem’s life.
The funeral cortege, which will be headed by a motorcycle, will pass through Newcastle Emlyn at 2pm from the Adpar side, over the bridge and past the Bunch of Grapes, where it will stop briefly before travelling via Cenarth and Crymych to Narbeth for the service, where all are welcome.
