The annual Tivyside Hunter Trials held at Trefach Farm, near Pantyderi were well attended.

Organised by the Tivyside Hunt, the event is held twice a year and consists of small fences for the novice rider and a more demanding track for the confident jockey.

Master of the Tivyside Hunt Carolyn Morgan was delighted with the day. She said: “It all went very well. It would have been nice if we’d had more competitors but we were aware that there we two shows in the area the following day. The weather was good and we’ve decided to host the event on the Saturday of the May Bank Holiday next year so that riders can use the course on the Sunday and Monday following.”
