Llandysul on track for treble
Newly-crowned Costcutter League champions and J Emrys Morgan Cup
winners Llandysul kept on track for a magnificent treble with two Bay Cup
triumphs in the space of three days.
In midweek the Swallows swept aside visitors Aberaeron Reserves 4-0
thanks to goals by Mathew Newbold (2), Scott Thomas and Josh Baker.
On Saturday the high-flyers were again comfortable winners as they came
through 4-1 against Cilgerran Rovers at Parc y Dre.
Classy midfielder Ben Thomas set the visitors on the way, Scott Thomas
doubled the advantage and Lewis Jones netted twice to make it plain sailing.
In the quarter-final Llandysul host the winners of tomorrow's round two
tie between St Dogmaels and Pencader at School Field and if they proceed
further will meet Llanboidy or Cardigan Town at the semi-final stage.
