FIFA coach of the year nominee Chris Coleman will be making a guest appearance at the annual Newcastle Emlyn AFC dinner.

The dinner which is being held at the Cliff Hotel, Gwbert, is sponsored by Cardigan Honda and will see Coleman, who led Wales to a Euro 2016 semi-final in the summer, as guest of honour.

The glittering event will take place on November 26 and will see some 230 guests attending.

After a sumptuous dinner, guests will be invited to take part in a charity raffle, as well as an auction of club sporting memorabilia.

The event, held annually to raise money for the club, is sponsored by Cardigan Honda, with support from Honda Finance and Honda Contract Hire.

Cardigan Honda dealer principal and Newcastle Emyln AFC chairman, Morlais Davis, said: “We are delighted to sponsor the annual Newcastle Emyln AFC diner, and look forward to welcoming our celebrity guest, Wales national team manager, Chris Coleman.”

Cardigan Honda is a family-run business, established in 1969. It was originally based in the village of Parcllyn, Ceredigion.

In 2001, the business became part of the Honda network, resulting in the development of a new showroom on the site in Penparc.
