The High Street in Cardigan has been closed for public safety due to tiles falling off buildings in the town.
Dyfed Powys police reported the closure but have said they don't know when the street will be reopened.
Cardigan fire service are on the scene along with police officers to secure the area.
Local reports have said the tiles have come off the buildings of Lloyds Bank and Julian Graves.
