A society celebrating the history and heritage of Cardigan is to be launched on Wednesday.
Cymdeithas Aberteifi Society will be launched at a public meeting on October 19 October 2016 at the Fisherman’s Rest, Quay Street.
The society aims to promote “Pride in Our Town – past, present, future”.
Working with all other like-minded community groups, the society aims to help preserve, protect, develop and improve the features of historic and public interest in the town, including heritage, history, natural history and architecture.
Anyone with an affection or interest for Cardigan’s history and heritage – whether individuals or groups – is invited to come along.
At the launch, Anna Lermon, director of Civic Trust Cymru,will give a presentation entitled the Legacy of Mediaeval Cardigan.
The meeting will take place at Fisherman’s Rest, Quay Street, from 7pm.
