A fishing boat that was in trouble near Gwbert has been rescued by the Cardigan RNLI lifeboat.
Cardigan RNLI lifeboat volunteer crew were called out on Monday, August 1 to help a 12ft open fishing vessel in trouble near Gwbert.
The volunteer lifeboat crew were paged at 8.06pm following a request from Milford Haven Coastguard and launched the D-class lifeboat Elsie Ida Mead, which was on scene at 8.21pm.
The fishing vessel, with one person on board, had experienced engine problems and was taken under tow to the moorings in St Dogmaels
. Once secured the lifeboat then returned to the RNLI station.
