Members from Tesco's Cardigan took part in a zip wire challenge, jumping 150ft from the roof of St. David's Hotel in Cardiff to help The Princes Gate Trust.

The trust was set up to help a variety of individuals better their lives.

Store Manager Joanna Balkwill and other colleagues from the store took part in the event and raised £903.17 for the cause which was presented last week.

Tesco's Community Champion Dave Thomas said: "Tesco are proud to help support nationwide charitable causes as well as groups within our own community. Our next fundraising event will take place in August in store with Rio De Tesco as part of the Olympic games to help both The British Heart Foundation & Diabetes UK."
