A team of local runners have raised over £1500 for Carmarthen based charity Cerebra by taking part in the iconic British 10k London run earlier this month.
Alex Elsaesser from Felinwynt, Dewi Day from Aberporth and Cecilia Bufton from Carmarthen raced past some of the capital’s most iconic landmarks to raise money for the charity.
Cerebra is a charity dedicated to helping families with children with brain conditions discover a better life together.
The charity relies on the generosity of supporters to fund its’ work.
This includes the Cerebra Innovation Centre in Swansea which designs and makes innovative products to help children have fun, play, discover and take part such as the adapted surf board trialled by Kai Evans.
The charity have got places in lots of events from mud runs to colour runs, marathons, 10ks and even zombie runs.
