A Cardigan restaurant owner has been cleared this afternoon of raping a 14 year-old girl who had sex with four different men in the same night.

Kamil Anton, aged 28, had admitted having sexual intercourse with her when his partner was six months pregnant with their daughter.

But he told a jury at Swansea crown court it happened with her consent and today he was found not guilty.

Earlier, he had been cleared of sexual activity with a child while knowing that she was not, or not reasonably believing that she was, of the age of consent.

Jason Williams, aged 20, of Maes yr Haf, Cardigan and Mark Jones, 22, of Pant y Grwndi Farm, Fishguard, had been cleared earlier this week of sexual activity with a child.

All three had denied the allegations against them.

Now, only Rhys Michael Jones, aged 18, of Maes y Felin, Cardigan, stands to be punished for what happened during the night of October 18 into October 19, 2014.

He knew how old the girl was and has admitted sexual activity with an underage girl.

He will be sentenced later this month.

The trial followed a complaint to police by the girl that she had woken in bed after a party in Cardigan to find Anton having intercourse with her.

She told police that by then she had already had sex, with her consent, with Williams, Rhys Jones and Mark Jones.

Anton told the court that he woke and asked the girl if she wanted a coffee. She “smirked” at him and he kissed her, “and it led from there.”
