POLICE are hunting a woman driver who left the scene of an accident on the A484 Llechryd to Cenarth road without stopping, leaving a young couple injured.
The incident occurred near the sawmills depot at approximately 3.35pm last Tuesday when a black Ford Corsa driven by the unknown woman was in collision with a black Civic Honda driven by 24-year-old Nathan Jones of Llandysul.
Mr Jones partner was in the passenger seat.
A rapid response vehicle and an ambulance responded and Mr Jones, formerly of Cardigan and Llechryd, and his partner were treated at the scene for whiplash and other injuries.
A police spokesman told the Tivy-Side “We are anxious to trace the driver of a black Ford Corsa in connection with this incident.
"Any information received will be treated in strictest confidence.”
