Rhydlewis sculpture garden is celebrating its sixth anniversary with a book of homemade recipes

'A Taste of Sculptureheaven' is a book of home-made recipes for cakes and cordials and has been published in honour of the opening of Sculptureheaven sculpture gardens, workshop and tearoom near Rhydlewis.

“Visitors have been requesting my recipes for several years,” said garden owner Rose Barter.

“I wanted the book to be really special, so I asked local artist Alexandra Becker to draw some beautiful illustrations. My husband Terry took photographs of the garden throughout the seasons, to make the book a real keepsake. It's finally published and we’re thrilled with the result."

Sculptureheaven is a bit off the beaten track, near to Rhydlewis, so the owners advise you check out their website for directions or call on 01239 851737 first.

Rose and Terry have planned something special for visitors to enjoy each month, from an Egg Hunt Trail, Bara Brith Surprise Buns, Summer Flowers and Sparkling Home Made Cordials.

Sculptureheaven is open Wednesdays and Thursdays from 11.00am to 5.00pm from April until the end of September including August Bank Holiday Monday.

'A Taste of Sculptureheaven' is on sale in the tea room for £9.50.

Admission and parking are free. Rose and Terry welcome dogs, provided they are on leads.
