Residents of Brondesbury Lodge Residential and Nursing Home in Cardigan had an eggstra-special day on Easter Sunday.
The home welcomed Mayor John Adams-Lewis and his wifeMorina Adams-Lewis to judge the annual Easter bonnet competition.
A raffle of a giant Easter egg, kindly donated to the Friends of Brondesbury Lodge by Cardigan Tesco was also drawn by the pair.
In the bonnet competition there results were:
1st prize -Nina Thomas, 2nd prize Haydn Jones with his Aussie-themed bonnet, 3rd was Jean Jones' bunny bonnet and 4th Eluned Williams' bonnet decorated with spring flowers.
All staff and residents also received an Easter egg each from Brondesbury manager Mrs Jolly Joseph.
After the competition, everyone enjoyed tea and Simnel cake, which was cut by the Mayor.
The Giant Easter Egg was won by Maisie Evans and the raffle raised £51 for the Friends of Brondesbury Lodge - who organise outings and entertainment for residents.
