All are welcome to join in with the 'Sing for Satori' session which will be taking place in Cardigan very soon.

In Newport on January 24 a total of 54 singer some from Cardigan raised their voices for Sartori.

While some of the participants were experienced singers, others hadn't sung since school or some never before.

They learnt and then performed a range of pieces, including a Maori Farewell, the Gendarmes' Duet and Westlife's You Raise me up, plus a well-loved song from 1927 - and some of them in harmony as well.

Organiser, Anne Hughes, said: "I can't believe how much we achieved in just over an hour. And we also raised a whopping £176.21 for Sartori. To see so many smiling faces - and to hear such a luscious sound - really raised the spirits!' Ros Raymond from Sartori said: 'Amazing! A big thank you to everyone for a lovely afternoon and an excellent result all round."

The next 'Sing for Sartori' session will be in Cardigan (St Mary's Church Hall) on Sunday, February 21 at 3pm, followed by Dinas (Yr Hen Ysgol) on March 13, Haverfordwest (Albany Church Hall) on April 3, Johnston (Johnston Institute) on April 10 and Roch (Victoria Hall) on April 17, all starting at 3pm.

You don't have to be able to read music or even to sing brilliantly. Everyone is welcome to come along and just have a good sing.

The light-hearted and family-friendly afternoons are entirely free, every single penny of the retiring collection going directly to the Paul Sartori Foundation.
