Take a break from the stress of the high street and support local businesses this Christmas by joining Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority for three special shopping events.

Castell Henllys Iron Age Village, Oriel y Parc Gallery and Visitor Centre and Carew Castle will all be hosting festive events featuring a range of gifts from local craftspeople and producers, alongside seasonal refreshments and entertainment.

Sunday, November 29 will see Castell Henllys host its Christmas Fayre with local crafts stalls offering you the chance to find the perfect gift for that special someone.

You’ll also be able to enjoy a mince pie and mulled wine as you browse and are entertained by carol singers.

For £1 children will be able to join the Castell Henllys team on a Fairy Tale Trail while you shop - and you can take them to visit Santa and one of his elves in the special grotto for £2 per child.

The Castell Henllys Christmas Fayre will be open from 11am-4pm and entry is free.

On Saturday, December 5 Oriel y Parc Gallery and Visitor Centre will be transformed into a bustling Christmas Market with mulled wine, mince pies, face painting and live music from Fishguard Folk Singers adding to the festive atmosphere.

Children will also be able to meet Santa in his grotto and receive a gift for £1.50 per child. The Oriel y Parc Christmas Market will be open from 10am-4pm and entry is free.

Carew Castle will hold its Christmas Fayre on Sunday, December 6 offering free entry for children.

The Quaynotes Choir will perform traditional songs and carols as you browse the best in local food, drink, gifts, crafts and jewellery inside the Castle’s beautiful building.

Youngsters will be able to visit Santa and receive a gift in his grotto, hidden away within the walls of the Castle, for £2 per child.

There will also be festive fare available with mulled wine and hot drinks as well as hot food to buy from Slow Pig.

The Carew Castle Christmas Fayre will be open from 11am-3pm. There is free entry for children and normal admission charges apply for adults and concessions.
