GCSE and Pre-GCSE students at Coleg Ceredigion’s Cardigan campus were recently recognised for their Critical Thinking and Team-working skills.

The students were awarded the Reaching Wider North & Mid Wales Partnership Award for Excellence. Students followed a 6 week course run by the Partnership at the college focusing on developing critical thinking and learning skills for employability.

“Students benefited from learning and then demonstrating the skills they had acquired on the course run by the Reaching Wider Partnership," explained Kath Flowers, General Education tutor at Coleg Ceredigion. “The group also used their newly acquired skills to enter a competition run by Barclay’s Bank, coming in second place with their ideas for a new business enterprise. The course will run again this year.”
