CAP Reform and the Basic Payments Scheme will be under discussion by local farmers at the next Ceredigion NFU Cymru county meeting, on Monday, October 19, at the Feathers Hotel, Aberaeron.

Starting at 7.30pm, the meeting will be an opportunity for those present to hear the latest news on Welsh policy and sector issues - including updates on CAP Reform and the Basic Payments Scheme 2015 - and to receive delegate reports from the NFU Cymru Council meeting in Cardiff.

The meeting will also be an opportunity for local NFU Cymru members to consider the Welsh Government consultation on proposals to amend the Tuberculosis (Wales) Order 2010.

Wyn Evans, Ceredigion NFU Cymru county chairman, said: “The meeting is open to all NFU Cymru members and I do hope we will get a good turnout as your opinion is important to us and really does count. Please also encourage your friends and neighbours to come along.”
