Two of the top European psychedelic bands share the same bill at The Cellar Bar in Quay Street on Saturday, July 25.
Local psych explorers Sendelica play support to Da Captain Trips from Italy; the masters of ethereal space-rock and heavy-psych jams.
Da Captain Trips was formed as a joke in 2009 by three overweight beardy friends who shared the same passion for the space instrumental music based on the psychedelic rock from the sixties and seventies.
The name of the band is a tribute to the Stephen King story “The Dark Tower”.
Both bands shared a split album release on Vincebus Eruptum Recordings earlier this year - 'Psychedelic Battles - Volume One'.
