The Home of Bluestone Brewing co, Tyriet Farm has undergone some dramatic changes over the past few months.

The changes have been all in preparation for the official opening of the new visitor facility and music venue that was funded by a grant from the Coastal Communities fund.

Local builders, carpenters, plant hire, electricians and fabricators have worked hard to transform the farm building into an attractive bar area with a shop, an outdoor seated area under a stretch tent, and a stage.

A Short film was created to explain the brewing process, capturing the history of home brewing within the Gwaun valley, and also a short explanation of how the famous Bluestone Rock has not only played an important role in ancient history, but is still used as a modern day building material.

On Saturday, June 20 families came through the gate of the brewery all day looking around, exploring the new facilities and sampling a selection of real ales.

In the evening over 150 people came to see the magnificent Haverfordwest Male voice choir and the talented Memphis Belle perform on our purpose built stage, and gave a great show.

A selection of Bluestone Ales were on tap, while the new heated stretch tent housed the audience.

The Brewery are looking forward to hosting more events with plans underway for two more similar events to be held on July 18 and August 22.

They will also be offering the area as a private venue as well as brewery tours being available.

All at Bluestone brewing Co extend a big thank you to all those involved in the hard work leading up to the event.
