MP Mark Williams has expressed concern about the Welsh Governments decision to withdraw funding to various environmental groups across Wales.
He expressed his concerns by writing to the Welsh Government Minister.
These funds had been supporting locally based environmental action in Wales since 1992, and was received by projects in Ceredigion such as the Long Wood Education and Conservation Project, the Wise Woods Volunteer Programme, and the RAY Ceredigion Recycling and Scrap store.
Commenting Mark Williams said: “These are projects who undertake important work to protect and preserve our local environment in Ceredigion. All of them are excellent community schemes, and their work should be nurtured. I hope Minister reconsiders this decision.”
