Shoppers in Cardigan will be able to take advantage of the town’s loyalty card throughout the year after it was relaunched at the town’s soon to be open castle this week.
Traders are putting up a monthly £50 prize to encourage people to use their local shops.
Mayor Cllr Graham Evans said: “It’s so important that people shop locally and with the castle opening on April 15 we hope all the visitors to town will take advantage of the loyalty card scheme.”
All shoppers have to do is ask at local stores for their loyalty card and with a minimum spend of £5 gather stickers which entitles them to be entered in the monthly prize draw.
Traders chairman Martin Radley said: “The loyalty card has proved popular so traders felt it would be good to continue with it on a regular basis.”
