Pupils from Ysgol Gyfun Emlyn have been jamming as part of their fundraising in aid Wales Air Ambulance over the past few months.

Mr and Mrs Webb from Rhydlewis delivered a sack full of Victoria plums from their orchard to school, together with some catering packs of sugar and Jo Harvey of Carnowen Home Preserves donated a box of glass jars. The pupils from the Inclusion Centre set about making some plum jam; designing the labels for the glass jars and then selling the jam at every given opportunity.

The junior choir also did some jamming of their own; visiting the town on a market day just before Christmas where they swooned the locals with their renditions of festive songs. The choir collected donations from the public to make up the £300 that was received by Clive Scourfield on behalf of Air Ambulance Wales during his visit to the school recently.
