Police are asking members of the community to be vigilant this winter, following a recent theft of heating oil from an address in Blaenffos.
Although the price of heating oil is decreasing, opportunist thieves may still target heating oil sources.
Police are asking that people take time to support vulnerable and elderly members of their families and communities by ensuring their oil tanks are well hidden and secured.
Anyone with information about any oil thefts, or information about anyone selling oil in suspicious circumstances is asked to contact their local police station or call 101.
