Members of the public are being invited to get their views across to Pembrokeshire County Council in a series of open meetings.

The meetings will give the public a chance not only to meet Councillors but the Council’s Acting Head of Paid Service, Ian Westley, and other senior officers.

Mr Westley said: “One of the messages that is apparent is that the public would like us to be more open and transparent, and to engage more meaningfully with local people and communities.

“We are keen to respond positively to that challenge and provide members of the community an opportunity to shape the future of the Authority by telling us how they would like services delivered in the future.”

The meetings are open to everyone and will be run by independent facilitators Participation Cymru. It is envisaged they will become a regular event in the calendar.

The meetings, 7pm to 9 pm, will take place at the Town Hall, Fishguard on February 5, and the Bloomfield Community Centre, Narberth, March 2.

To take part - and to ensure there is room for everyone - call the council by January 28, 01437 764551.
