Crymych fire crew recently celebrated being crowned Station of the Year at the Mid and West Wales Fire Service awards.
The crew was presented with the award at the Liberty Stadium after displaying a proven track record of maintaining 100% main fire appliance and co-responder availability year on year.
A fire service spokesman said: “Despite being a small rural community, Crymych Fire Station is never off the run.
“The dedicated personnel manage to achieve this in spite of dwindling staff numbers as a result of illness, relocation and the fact they have a small population from which to recruit.
“They enjoy huge support from their local community, particularly in regard to the co-responder which is very highly valued and was one of the first to go on the run.”
