A petition signed by over 100 locals is calling for local businesses to have a rates rebate after Cardigan bridge was shut for several weeks.
The bridge opened today (Wednesday) a few weeks ahead of schedule, but local traders say their businesses have been badly damaged.
Eagle landlady Marianne Warren reckons she has lost hundreds of pounds in lost trade and say nearby traders in Pentood and over the bridge say the same.
"Surely it would only be fair for the council to give us some form of rebate just to show they care about local businesses," she said.
